Rough Weekend

Dear lord...
Sorry for the delayed post. I just got a new roommate.
Apparently this kid's old roommate would go on enraged tangents and go crazy or something.
The night my roommate moved in he got a message from his ex-roommate. The dialogue went something like this:
"Fuck you man! I fucking hate you! I don't need you, and I don't need anyone! I'm going to burn this whole place down!"
Well our RA got word of the altercation. Eventually to police were called and wanted to arrest the kid. No arrests were made but it was a grueling set of hours for my roommate-to-be.

When he moved in I got to know him. He didn't seem like much at first, but talking with him I found out a bunch of cool things. Evidently this kid is the most interesting person I ever met.
He speaks 5 different languages fluently.
He has been to at least 60 countries.
He plays bass, drums, and guitar.
He gets royalty checks from his two albums every month.
He has his own studio.

I can go on more but you get the point. Ballin'.
We have jammed a few times and it's pretty tight. You guys can count on more material.
I'll keep y'all posted!

Who wants to make a song Pt. 2

Hey everyone! Me and my buddy made a new loop.

The request still stands. I want anyone to contribute to the music making to make an awesome song.
I really like the feel to this new one. It was supposed to be more classical until my buddy added guitar into it.

Who wants to make a song?

Hey everyone. I just recorded this basic track of a song and I am asking you to help me out!
If anyone has any recording software I would love if you were to play your own instrument with mine!
We can make a whole song over the internet. Sounds exciting doesn't it?

Any instrument will do. And if you sing that would be awesome. I really think we can make a kickass song.

Funky Jam

Here's a cool little jam I did with my old friends when I went down to Naperville, IL.
It has my friend Mario on the bass and Steve on the Guitar. I am playing the keyboard. I've always enjoyed the genre of funk because of the slapping/percussive element of the bass. It was awesome to find someone with such abilities. And Steve I think has a lot of funky-ness in his guitar.

It's me and my buddy Durk. This song is called Timid Impact. Tell me what you guys think!
This song was made in the Summer with some kid who wanted to record us. He had some very expensive equipment for such a ragtag home studio.
This was only recorded in one day so there are some mistakes, but overall I like the quality of the work!

It turns out the person who was recording us also made mixes of M.C Chris songs that were featured on his website.
There's more to come. Don't worry. I'll feed ya, my little baby birds.

My Birthday

So I just turned 20 today, but I don't feel any cooler or anything.

I'm just getting money and facebook messages by people I have never really talked to. What am I supposed to do today? I skipped all of my classes... But I normally do that. I guess I'll go out with some friends. Other than that, it's like any other day, sans the whole "tons of money" thing.
